Sexual Assault of Men
In his interview, survivor and Board Member Theo Hutt shares his story of his assault- a moment that changed the course of his life and led him to become a dedicated advocate. By speaking out, Theo hopes to break the stigma surrounding men reporting sexual violence and address the barriers they face in accessing healing resources. Most importantly, to let other male survivors know they are not alone. The accompanying teaching guide serves to provide educators with tools to facilitate discussion around the nuances that male survivors face, challenge stereotypes, and promote a culture of empathy and support for all.
