For College Students
Become a College Student Mentor
Our mentor opportunities are for college students who want to support SafeBAE by becoming Certified Peer Educators and directly connecting with high schools. Mentors help students build SafeBAE clubs, advocate for safer policies, and transform their school culture.
Many college students who join us are also survivors themselves, motivated to create safer environments in the schools they came from. You know these communities best, and with our support, you can help lead meaningful change. All student engagement materials are available to you at no cost, and our team is here to back you every step of the way.

Start a SafeBAE Club on Your Campus
College students don’t just mentor younger peers — you can also start a SafeBAE club on your own campus. Clubs bring together students to raise awareness, push for policy reform, and create a campus culture rooted in consent and accountability. We provide resources, training, and ongoing support to help you organize events, campaigns, and advocacy projects that make an impact.
Become a Certified Peer Educator
College students are encouraged to complete SafeBAE’s Certified Peer Educator Training to strengthen prevention on their own campuses and to collaborate with nearby high schools. Certified students are also prioritized when paid mentorship opportunities become available.
Apply to Join the Board of Directors
SafeBAE’s Board includes students, survivors, and youth leaders from across the country. College students with experience in our programs are especially encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed annually, but interest forms are accepted year-round.
